A Vision, A Dream

Just decided to drop some words here since I have been abandoning this blog lately. I am busy, tired and lazy what with Cheq Up Conference 2006 as well as Christmas and the Christmas Presentation that was just over.

I just had a chat with ***e*i* and honestly, it was really nice to have the two of us cuddled in my bed as we were waiting for her parents to come pick her up from my place after YAS. As I was talking, I had this sudden inspiration. If the chats and cell groups in ISCA helped us (especially the current committee members and the older people) understand what we should do and things like that when it comes to relationships (I’m sure you know what I mean), maybe we could and should start something like that next year to build the younger people’s stand and just to pump in some wisdom into their minds so that they may, in turn do the same for the younger people who will come in next time.

Do you actually get me? Oh well. If the Christians of today’s generation go about throwing their affection and “love” all over the place, what will the non-Christians think? How can there be Christian playboys and playgirls? I think this makes sense to you guys.

Oh, I soooooooo wanna chat with you guys and am looking forward to the time we’ll get to spend together during CU06. It’ll be great to share our dreams, visions, hopes, fears, strengths, weaknesses and encourage each other. We have to catch up with each other I think.

Okay, a total change of mood and topic. I went to Jimmy’s house today with Vivian, Veryn, Matthew and Abel this afternoon to help out with the games. There were supposed to be three but we only had enough time for one. Which is a total waste. Anyways, we’ll just save it for a rainy day. Whoa, I had a great time joking and teasing and all in all just being mad with these people. Hah, it was really nice teasing and laughing with Abel. He’s so gina-ish and cute. You know what I mean right? Don’t go around thinking about nonsense ya?

Right now, my heart is only for him.

Stuff

Everyone has got their share of secrets. Secrets that can't be let out. Probably someday, sometime suitable, thes secrets can be and will be revealed. Why am I talking about them anyway? Sense the irony? I have my share of them. Nowadays I'm more comfortable with who I am and will probably tell you som stuff if you prod anough. Or maybe not. Oh, well.

I'm sure you guys want to hear about camp. Especially the SPM-ers who were absent last Saturday. I gave a testimony you know. I'm very sure that, say , a couple of years ago I wouldn't have been able to do something like that or even make friends with a guy. But it's amazing what God can do. He turned my shyness into (a certain amount) of boldness and gave me something called wisdom. I admit though, I need more of that. Who doesn't anyway. In camp, I made friend with a bunch of guys, more like started talking to them. Talked a bit with Ivan and Ivan and Abel, talked a lot more with Jimmy, laughed a bit with Brian. Amazing. Made friends with Christine and talked more with Veryn, Vivian, Amy and Jolene. It was good all in all. I was in the committee you see, made it easier to mix with these people.

And the presence of God was amazing especially on the third night. Revival happened and I dare say that Y.A.S. will never be the same.
