(hit by) nostalgia

missing the memory
wishing it was different

(wholly unconnected, the pictures and the words)

sighings

how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
how many times?
(i know what you did
i know what u know
i don't like trust)
how many times?
forever?
therapeutic
therapeutic
learning to look to God
knowing i have everything in Him
not feeling it sometimes
duush
then again it's my fault right?
duush
it's not self-created
duush
but i don't know what's going on
...
...
...
...
...
i don't like pretending
i don't like to be read
silence
if only one was all
one is all
but..
silence

Hoohoohoo Updates~ (:

I. Have not been blogging. So. I shall try to catch up.

Lazy la. My connection's really bad sometimes. Mood swings form Mr. Internet Connection. Tsktsk.

12 July 2008: Ground Breaking Ceremony @ Promise Land (Jln. Sungai Pinang 5)
It IS Jln Sungai Pinang 5 right? Aighhs.

WE (Jolene, Darren, me, Gladys, Jimmy, Vivien, Ben, Edward, Jos
eph) lead the FIRST EVER praise and worship session there! Aren't we honoured! Aren't we blessed! I was somewhat hyped. Hair stood on ends when I realised that one fact (:
So, I won't blog about everything that happened. Just g
o through briefly and post many pictures (: First the participants registered and collected their numbers. Then there was food and drinks on sale to raise funds as well. Short prayer, praise and worship (there was a canopied stage there), speech by Pastor Marcus then ground breaking time. The registered participants lines up in a line of 50 people/spades. Let the pictures do the talking.

That's less than 50 of course. Ooh it was HOT that day. Very. Too much sunshine. But it was really good for photo taking. Hehe (: After that was the tree planting ceremony. Didn't take any pictures. Then there were random performances by kids and by people from Hokkien Service. I think I kinda jumbled up the sequence of event. Sorry.

Then (my fav part), colourful helium balloons were distributed. Yay, we released them all into the sky! It's supposed to represent our hopes and dreams (I think).

Balloons before release.

Random dudes that happened to appear in my camera :D They were picking up rubbish; hence the gloves. Wonder why they didn't take it off.

There WERE my balloons (the pink and orange ones). Wonder where they are now hehe.

Balloons flying away~

And more (:

You know it was a somewhat beautiful day (despite the hot hot sun). As said, it WAS a physical AND spiritual event. It was beautiful. I'm no good with words. It was beautiful.

Such hope, such promise.

...

I'm not happy.
(you shall not know why).

I care too much about my stupid, stupid, insignificant problems.
I shall (try) to start to care about those are really, truly hurting.
I want to love the hurt.
I want to care for the lonely.
I want to save lives.

I don't know how.
Humanly speaking, it is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Romans 8:28
Proverbs 20:24

p.s. I smile when I'm unhappy. I'm not demented, no. Smiling does make you happier you know?
Fake it till you make it.. (:

...

I know.
I'm not blind/deaf/oblivious.
But whatever la, I don't care too much.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
~Romans 8:28 (NLT).

How can we understand the road we travel? It is the Lord who directs our steps.
~Proverbs 20:24 (NLT).

And so, life goes on.
(:
