I was reading about eating disorders, anorexia, bulimia etc. for my PA presentation. And then I browsed though some thinspiration which are pictures of thin girls that are supposed to inspire anorexics to continue to starve themselves, so that they reach their goal..

You know, they don't do it just because they want to be skinny. True they have this strange idea that thin is beautiful, bones is beautiful etc., but most of them have such messed up lives. Abuse, hatred, insecurity, drugs, alcohol, sex etc. thoughi'mnotperfecteither

They just want to be beautiful.

I don't know how to say this..



It's sad, just plain sad.



I don't know why but..

After the seaside/park visit.. oh wait, the food there is so bad! Well, at least at the stall nearby the-place-we-stopped-at.

Anyway, we went to Surrender Point. This is where the Japanese surrendered to the Australian forces in 1945 (I wikied this).

Peace is the best.

I have no idea what that domed shaped structure is...

(It seems to me that I have no idea as to what is what in most of what I saw. But we were rushing. But still not good).

Next, we went to the biggest Taoist temple (or temple in general) in Labuan. Construction works were still going on..

I did not go inside.

After that, we headed back to our apartment. We were so tired, some of us dozed off in the bus. On the way back we passed by a flour mill and a Petronas oil plant. Uh yea.

That was all from our round island trip.

Owh the BM there is strange, as in, it's kinda like BM plus Indon if you know what I mean. Had to ask them to like repeat themselves. O well. BYE!

Round Island Trip

Round Labuan island that is... (:
Here we go!

These were at the Labuan Water Sports Centre. I look wetawrded.. We went there to look at the beach (somewhat pathetic) and there was a marine museum there, so we went in. There was a shark-petting area (do you call it shark-petting?) but it was kinda small la. Aquaria at KLCC is SO NICE! I liked that place. I miss the eels XD

Okay then.. We went to the War Memorial Park. Something like that.

We read from the plaques that we on the ground. Were they plaques? Duno la what you call it. No time to read much about the place etc. cause we were rushing! Squeezing everything into some hours. I don't even know if the people were actually buried there. I doubt it. Um it was from the 19-something war in Labuan. Um. My history knowledge is so bad. Ishk. Will do research when I'm more free. Ishk! It was kind of sad.. or some other strange feeling i-duno-what-u-call-it when we were wandering around there.. Owh and there was this huge cross in the middle of the park..

Random mini aircon-less bus pic. By the way, we only had to pay the bus driver RM7 per person for the whole tour which was from noon till about 4. He was out tour guide also la. La la la la.. Labuan is so green. Penang is a darker green. Labuan is lighter. Gaha. A lot of lalangs in Labuan (shaddap stefi!).

This building is simply known as The Chimney. Though no one knows for sure what was its function, only theories of lighthouse, marker something or other though not an actual chimney. Strange. It wasn't so pretty last time; restoration work was done to prettify it. (: Curious building-thing.

Eh. Bad picture. O well.

Next.

A random mansion. There was this place called Victoria Mansions, we passed by. I didn't snap any pictures. Gah. Really nice place. Still prefer Penang though XD WHy I actually bother to upload a picture of a random mansion, I have no idea. This was taken en route to...

Uh. Park by the seaside. I can't bare to call it a beach. Though it is the South China Sea.. Whatever.. Gaha. I see too much Straits of Malacca de. This park is kinda fun. On the way, we were waving/shouting HIE~!!! at random strangers (I was a bit more civilised though and laughed in amusement). And they'll wave back. A bus load full of girls lol. Screaming HIE~!!. Gaha.

Nah. I have so many pics but I'm so lazy. Gah. Prewty! (:
